Our firm acts as private prosecutor on behalf of one of the animal protection associations party to the proceedings brought against the woman under investigation for the death of her two dogs. During the course of the case we requested, as a precautionary measure, a ban on the keeping of and cohabitation with animals for the duration of the proceedings. The measure was supported by the Public Prosecutor's Office, but was denied by the court, and we therefore filed an appeal for reconsideration and, in the alternative, an appeal before the Provincial Court of Alicante. The proceedings are ongoing.

We represent, as private prosecutor, the two young victims in these proceedings. Although they did not know one another and the events took place on different dates, the investigation revealed a matching modus operandi in both cases. From the outset we accompanied the victims in filing their complaints before the specialist unit of the National Police. Following the arrest of the person under investigation, a restraining order was granted in respect of both women to ensure their protection during the proceedings. The case remains at the investigation stage, pending the reports on the material seized.

We took on the private prosecution and the representation of two relatives of the victim in the proceedings brought over an alleged murder in Elche. Throughout the case we have taken part in the various procedural steps in defence of the interests of those we represent. The proceedings are at an advanced stage, with a date already set for the trial before the jury court. We continue to prepare our involvement ahead of the hearing.
