The purpose is to help cover expenses such as clothing, food, transportation, and education, among others.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When a person repeatedly fails to pay the mandatory child support they are required to pay, the creditor may ask the court to garnish the debtor\u2019s wages or salary in order to ensure payment of the child support owed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In this way, the debtor\u2019s employer is notified to withhold a portion of the debtor\u2019s wages or salary and remit it directly to the pension creditor. The first and most recommended option is an amicable agreement. Reaching an amicable agreement between the debtor and the creditor to establish new payment terms.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You can also request a deferral or payment plan for the debt.
